		(select installation and detail images) 2020 | composite image digital print on semi-transparent fabric diptych, each piece 4m x 4m x 2m (approx. 13' x 13' x 6.5') The forms and material for this project reference shade sails/sun sails, which are meant to provide protection from the severe effects of the sun's heat and UV rays. The amalgam of images is composed from both visual-simulation references in scientific articles on increasingly extreme weather (particularly storms) as a result of climate change and global warming, and from compositions based on depictions of storms in the paintings of Romantic landscape artists, such as Turner, Friedrich and Bierstadt.
